We are a small midwest USA down-on-the-farm soapmaking & pottery business, committed to providing our customers with the highest quality natural handmade soaps & skin care products, as well as soy-blend candles and handmade pottery.

Our Heartland handmade soaps are a very nice luxury - they create a creamy rich lather that gently cleanses and moisturizes the skin, leaving it feeling soft, smooth, nourished and lightly fragranced.    Our soaps are made the cold process method using the best food/cosmetic grade  olive, canola, coconut, & palm oils.  We enrich each batch with goat's milk, unrefined shea butter and cocoa butter.  Emu oil (reputed for its healing properties) is added to some batches.  For fragrancing, we use essential oils when possible and some fragrance oils.  Nice herbs and botanicals are also added, depending on the scent.  Our bars of handmade soap weigh at least 5 ounces, which is considerably larger than most handmade soaps that you'll find on other websites...so, please compare the SIZE of the bar if pricing is important to you and you'll find that we offer the best pricing.  

Soft as Silk Hand & Body Lotion is our own special recipe, containing nice skin-loving ingredients including emu oil, shea butter, cocoa butter & Vitamin E. They absorb nicely into your skin, leaving it oh-so-soft, velvety and moisturized. We have a nice selection of fragrances to choose from.  We also make the very popular MAX Soft as Silk Hand & Body Lotion , which contains double the amount of emu oil and MSM for maximum relief of tired aching/arthritic joints and muscles.   If you have a special fragrance that you would like for us to carry, please send us an email .

Our Soft as Silk Face Cream is especially nice and luxurious. We use the same nice ingredients as in our lotions, then enrich it with red raspberry oil, evening primrose oil, squalene and other face-friendly ingredients that leave your face soft, moisturized and glowing.  It comes unscented or very lightly scented (Mother Earth Blend). 

Our luxurious Bath Salts are the perfect answer to a long hard tiring day...   Just add to a nice warm bath, then relax..   Our bath salts contain natural sea salt, epsom salt, dendritic salt, essential/fragrance oils and other nice ingredients to leave your skin oh-so-soft & lightly fragranced and your body relaxed and refreshed.

If you're having trouble with really dry patches of skin, you might really like our nice Body Butters.  They contain shea butter and cocoa butter, along with emu oil to enrich and nourish your skin... leaving it nice and soft.

Your lips will love our Moisturizing Lip Balms - so smooth and creamy!!! ... and contains nice natural beeswax, butters and oils, and a little flavoring.

Our Soy Blend Candles are just the nicest you can buy..  We use natural waxes, cotton woven wicks and essential as well as fragrance oils to nicely fragrance your home/office for many hours.

Bohnsack Pottery are one of a kind pieces ...  made of non-toxic lead-free clay and glazes..  They are dishwasher, oven and microwave-safe.
